In the far east of Nepal, the Ilam Valley climbs through the Himalayan foothills and borders directly on Darjeeling. Cool nights, intense mountain light, drifting cloud, and steep, well-drained slopes slow the growth of the tea bush, which concentrates aroma and sweetness in the youngest buds.
Nepal is a small tea country, and it is not known for white tea at all — which is exactly what makes these harvests a rarity. Gardens here are young by tea standards, often working in small lots with careful hand plucking rather than volume, so each season carries a distinct signature of the valley it came from.
Mountain Bliss · Shangri-La

Aurasteep® Mountain Bliss comes from the Ilam Valley in far eastern Nepal, grown on the Himalayan Shangri-La tea plantation after which the variety is named. A rare Nepalese white tea, it steeps with the bright, lifted character of a first flush Darjeeling — delicate floral aromas with notes of honey, apricot, and mountain blossom.
